Babalwa is the Chief Executive Officer of Sinayo Securities. Prior to joining Sinayo Securities she was CFO at Safika Holdings and also group chief internal auditor of Nedbank. Babalwa is a former audit partner in Deloitte’s Financial Institutions Services Team division. She qualified as a chartered accountant in 1999.
She was chairperson of Deloitte’s Transformation Advisory Board and also the transformation champion for FIST, where she was responsible for setting transformation strategies and the monitoring their effective implementation.
She was the founding chairman of the African Women Chartered Accountants (AWCA), an organisation focusing on accelerating the development of woman chartered accountants; she is currently a member of its advisory board.

Kevin is a registered practising stockbroker with the South African Institute of Stockbrokers and is the Stockbroker-in-Control at Sinayo Securities. He is also the compliance officer of the company. Prior to becoming the compliance officer he formed part of the institutional trading desk.
Prior to joining Sinayo Securities he was the head of the derivatives desk at Afrifocus Securities (Pty)Ltd. At Afrifocus he traded derivatives and equities for discretionary and non-discretionary clients. He was also involved in giving advice, restructuring portfolios, compiling reports and producing technical analysis on the market. He worked at Afrifocus for a total of 9 years. During this period he also had a 2 year stint as head of retail clients and then as the stockbroker-in-Control at TOV Capital Markets and Share Trading, a Brazilian Stockbroker looking to open offices in South Africa.
Before Afrifocus he worked as a portfolio manager at PLJ Financial services, now called Thebe Securities, for 5 years.

Agrippa Ndlovu is presently Sinayo Securities’s Settlements Officer.
Agrippa started his career at BC Davies & Co as a script clerk in 1986. Between 1994 and 1996, he served as a script supervisor at Boner & Freemantle before joining the then, first black registered stock broker in South Africa. He held the settlements officer position until 2012. He then took a leave of absence from the market before joining Sinayo Securities mid 2014. He has strong relationships with our clients’ back offices, as well as our CSDP. His extensive knowledge of the BDA system as well as Omgeo (a matching and settlements system to be implemented as requested by one of our clients) serves him well in his position here at Sinayo Securities.
Agrippa has the JSE Settlements Officer qualification.

Ian is an accredited equities trader with vast experience on the markets.
He started his equities trading career in July 1988 at George Huysamer & Partners Incorporated. He became head of the trading desk in July 1990.
George Huysamer & Partners Incorporated eventually became ABN AMRO Securities SA (Pty) Ltd.
After they ceased operations in SA, he moved to ING Baring SA Securities as head of equity trading & sales trading in 2001.
Similarly, in 2004 he moved to Kagiso Securities (Pty) Ltd. Kagiso Securities (Pty) Ltd was taken over by Vunani Securities (Pty) Ltd in 2010. In 2013 he moved to BPI Capital Africa as head of sales trading. There he traded both local and Sub Sahara markets.
In 2017 he joined Sinayo Securities as a senior trader.
John is an accredited Equities Trader with 27 years of experience in the Equities Market. After two years out of the market, working in the family business, he is really excited about the prospects that Sinayo offers. John represented RMB Morgan Stanley as a Senior Sales Trader, where he was actively involved in the formation of their Joint Venture in 2006.John began his career in 1990 where he worked in the back office of Martin & Co. He progressed at Martin & Co to the trading floor where he actively traded, golds, platinum’s and mining houses. In 1997 John joined Coronation Equities as head of trading. In 2000 Coronation Equities
became African Harvest Securities. In 2001 John moved from African Harvest to join RMB Equities and again headed up the Trading Division. In 2006 when RMB and MorganStanley formed their joint venture, John fulfilled the dual role of Trading and Sales Trading.
